  4.    This text file will show you how to add the ZDCS Duplicate System
  5.    On a multi Node PCBoard system.
  6.  
  7.    Node 1 the server will have all the files in the ZDCS package in its 
  8.    ZDCS directorie, Omit the docs and other non important things..
  9.  
  10.    Node 1 is where the Data base files will be stored.
  11.       If you file base is rather large make sure you have enough drive
  12.       space for the zdcs data base files! 
  13.  
  14.    You need to create a file called dlpath.lst see the docs and the example
  15.    if you need. omit the upload dir in this list.
  16.  
  17.    Follow the instructions on how to make the data base files, And run the 
  18.    program now its going to take some time to do this if your file base is
  19.    large but its worth the extra space you will save in the long run!
  20.  
  21.  This is all for node 1 the server.
  22.    
  23.   The next step...

  25.      It doesnt matter how many other nodes you have just as long as these 
  26.      instructions are followed!

  28.    On each of the nodes make a directorie called ZDCS off the root dir.
  29.  
  30.   In each of these dirs put the files...

  32.     ZDCSFC.EXE
  33.     ZDCS.CFG    
  34.  
  35.  
  36.  
  37.   And on each of the nodes edit the autoexec.bat file and put ZDCS in a
  38.   PATH. For that node *only*
  39.  
  40.   Make sure your zdcs.cfg file is made in such a way that it calles the 
  41.    Networked drive letter for the servers hard drive where all the data base
  42.    files are stored.

  44.   real hard eh.

  46.    Then the next thing to do is..
  47.  
  48.     If you going to use the ExzTest program from andy keeves 
  49.     You will have to edit the pcbtest.bat file..
  50.  
  51.    Looks something like this.

  58.   ZDCSFC %1 %3     <- there is a %2 that is passed but i dont use it.

  62.    It really doesnt matter where PCBdesc is in the chain Pcboard will 
  63.    pull that out by itself from what i have seen.

  65.    But please keep in mind that this works for me and my not for *YOU* 
  66.    so dont get mad at me because you deleted a few files in the proccess
  67.    of setting this up.
